It is a small revolution in the mounting of solar systems: ALTEC Metalltechnik GmbH from Schleiz has succeeded in developing a sophisticated modular system for mounting angles of solar systems. The special feature: Absolute flexibility during the assembly. Once the desired angle of inclination as well as the horizontal or vertical alignment of the modules have been defined, the solution can be combined with all roof fixings, regardless of the manufacturer of the photovoltaic modules.
“We have invested an enormous amount of work in the development of this innovative modular system. Highest stability, high-quality workmanship and complete flexibility during assembly – these are the characteristics of our new elevation brackets”, explains managing director Markus Stehle. He adds: “With other mounting systems there is often only one special clamp for each rail. This is quite impractical. With us it doesn’t matter which PV modules you want to install. From now on, you have the free choice whether you decide on a complete bracket including screw sets and cross connectors or order the individual parts. Everything fits together.”
Complete sets – thought of everything
The new complete sets of elevation brackets are used when no continuous base rail is required. They allow a tilt of 10 to 30 degrees in both vertical and horizontal installation. This guarantees optimum alignment to the sun and thus the highest efficiency of the solar modules used.
Single parts – individual and comprehensive
The respective conditions at the installation site sometimes require an individual solution. ,base rails, support angles, support brackets, cross connectors, screw sets and diagonal braces are available separately and according to the requirements at Altec Metalltechnik GmbH.
